Meter Replacement Program
District Wide Meter Replacement Program
Due to aging infrastructure, and customer requests for newer meter features such as real-time leak detection, the District implemented a District-wide meter replacement program. The District replaced all water meters with Sensus meters. These new meters provide customers with real-time information about their water usage, allow customers to receive leak alerts, and even view estimated future bills based on current usage.
New Infrastructure
The District installed the infrastructure necessary to remotely read all of the District's new water meters. You may see three towers installed throughout the District. These towers fully comply with the FCC standards and guidelines for environmental exposure to radio frequencies (RF). RF energy produced by smart meters is comparable to cellular phone devices, wireless baby monitors, television broadcasts, garage door openers, and WIFI networks.
New Meters
Due to aging infrastructure, and customer requests for newer meter features such as real-time leak detections, the District replaced all District water meters with smart meters. Meter installations began in November 2020 and were completed in early 2024. Customers can now use their online water billing account to view usage, leak alerts, and estimated bills. Sign up today!
